When I was an exchange student in Lyon two years ago, I tried to watch the live stream of the Beyond online memorial show. I struggled for almost half an hour to get it working, either the platform directly prompted "This content is only available for viewing in mainland China", or I finally got in but the picture quality was less than 1080p, lagging so much that the drum beats were half a beat slow, I almost missed the opening. For this live stream of Yip Sai Wing's 2026 tour Zhengzhou station, I have sorted out the tested and feasible solutions, so fans in France don't have to take detours.
First, clarify the official live streaming entrances
There are only three officially announced live streaming platforms for the concert. Don't search for those unofficial sites, either the pirated stream is so blurry that you can't see the face clearly, or it is embedded with a bunch of malicious ads, and there is even a risk of malware:
- Youku Music Live Channel: Exclusive main live stream position, with multi-angle switching and behind-the-scenes highlights playback, supports up to 4K HDR picture quality, requires Youku SVIP membership
- Damai APP performance live zone: Ticket purchasers can unlock exclusive camera positions, and there is real-time bullet screen interaction, non-ticket purchasers can also watch public live streams with ordinary definition
- Douyin "Yip Sai Wing Official Studio" account: Free live stream, but there will be a delay of about 3 minutes, the highest picture quality is 1080P, suitable for users who don't want to open a membership
All the above platforms will trigger regional copyright restrictions when opened in France, either they can't load or directly jump to the regional restriction prompt. The core reason is that the platform's CDN nodes are only open to mainland China IPs, and you need to switch the network environment back to a domestic IP first to access normally.
Tested and feasible unlocking solution, zero pitfall guide
I have tested three or four tools, either the bandwidth is not enough and the live stream lags like a PPT, or there are pop-up ads, unstable nodes and mid-stream disconnections. Currently, only QuickFox's performance meets the needs of watching 4K live streams after long-term use:
The operation is very simple, no need to do any complicated DNS settings: after installing it on your mobile phone/computer/TV, select the "Audio and Video Acceleration" mode, connect to a domestic node, and open the corresponding live streaming platform after the connection is successful. When I watched a domestic concert live stream in Paris last year, the measured delay was within 150ms, and even 4K picture quality was smooth without lag, there was no audio and video out of sync, which is much more stable than other tools I used before.
If you use TV screen casting to watch, it is recommended to install QuickFox directly on the TV side, don't use mobile phone screen casting, otherwise the screen casting protocol itself will add delay, which is prone to picture lag. If the TV is connected to a wired network, the picture quality will be at least 30% more stable than WiFi. The WiFi bandwidth of the apartment I rented before was only 30M, and after connecting to the wired network, there was no pressure to watch 4K live streams at all.
Several key optimization tips to avoid mid-stream problems
1. Test the node 1 hour in advance: 1-2 hours before the concert starts is the peak connection period, it is recommended to select the domestic node with the lowest delay in advance. I usually choose nodes in Guangdong or Shanghai, the delay from France is basically between 120-180ms, which is about 20ms lower than the Beijing node.
2. Close programs that occupy bandwidth in the background: such as Google Drive synchronization, network disk download, game background update, etc., they will all抢 the bandwidth of the live stream. I forgot to turn off Dropbox synchronization before, and the opening directly lagged to 720P, and it instantly returned to 4K after turning it off.
3. Buy the membership in advance: If the Youku SVIP is an account registered in France, it may not work. It is recommended to directly buy a short-term membership registered with a domestic mobile phone number on Taobao, it only costs a few yuan for 1 day, which is much more cost-effective than opening it yourself. Remember not to buy shared accounts, which are easy to be squeezed offline.
Common problem troubleshooting, no need to panic temporarily
If you encounter the situation that you still can't open it after connecting to the node, first troubleshoot in this order:
First, clear the browser cache or the APP background, sometimes the previous regional restriction cache is not cleared, even if you connect to the node, it will still prompt the restriction. If it still doesn't work, switch the node, for example, from the Shanghai node to the Guangzhou node, individual nodes may be temporarily restricted by the platform.
If there is a situation where audio and video are out of sync, first check if it is a problem with your own device, try lowering the live stream picture quality by one level, if it is still out of sync, disconnect the node and reconnect once, basically 90% of the problems can be solved.
Don't trust any free unlocking tools, I tried two before, not only there are pop-up ads, but also they will secretly limit the speed, it lags once every 10 minutes, and you can't watch the whole concert at all. Instead of tossing around temporarily at that time, it is better to use a stable tool in advance.
Finally, if you really can't catch up with the live stream on the day of the concert, Youku will launch the replay 24 hours after the end, and you can watch it with the same method. If you want to collect it, you can also cache it, but remember to keep the node connected when caching, otherwise it will prompt that copyright restrictions prevent downloading.
